With offices in both Plant City and Clearwater, we are based in Central Florida and conveniently located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Tampa. Hatcher Engineering is a certified Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) with the City of Tampa and a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) in both Hillsborough and Pinellas County. HEI is also a registered small business in the U.S. Government’s System for Award Management (SAM).
Nathaniel Hatcher is a licensed fire protection engineer with more than 20 years of engineering experience in fire suppression and special hazard system design and consulting, fire alarm and mass notification design, life safety consulting, systems testing and inspections, and expert witness / litigation support. He maintains engineering licenses in numerous states. In his dual roles as Principal Engineer and President, Nathan is responsible for company leadership and operations, oversight of engineering, design, and consulting projects, business development, estimating and sales, and oversees the quality of services provided by both of Hatcher Engineering’s fire protection engineering offices.
Richard Lyons brings more than 10 years of engineering experience in fire suppression, fire alarm and mass notification design, and special hazard system design to Hatcher Engineering. In his dual roles as a licensed Fire Protection Engineer and Branch Office Manager, Richard is responsible for engineering, estimating and sales, and oversees the project design and coordination for the Oldsmar office location.
James Morizzo brings 5 years of fire protection and fire suppression design experience to Hatcher Engineering. Based out of HEI’s Oldsmar office, James is responsible for engineering, project management, and design coordination of fire sprinkler, fire alarm, and special hazard systems.
